Inpatient Rehabilitation
The in-patient physical rehabilitation program is comprehensive and
interdisciplinary in scope of service. The team is goal oriented with a coordinated care
plan. The core services include physician and rehabilitation nursing on a 24-hour basis,
as well as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology,
psychological support, and social services/case management. Orthotics/prosthetic services,
audiology, vocational rehabilitation counseling, and post-acute continuum planning are
also provided. Other key program components include patient and family education and
training, community reintegration, home evaluations, diabetic education, and safety
training with functional ability.
